Carl L. Kalbhen, M.D.

Dr. Kalbhen grew up in Arlington Heights. He attended Medical School at the University of Chicago, which was followed by an internship at Weiss Memorial Hospital in Chicago. Dr. Kalbhen completed his Diagnostic Radiology Residency at Loyola University Chicago and then underwent Fellowship training in Abdominal Imaging at the University of California- San Francisco.

 

Dr. Kalbhen in Board Certified in Diagnostic Radiology, and he is a Fellow of the American College of Radiology (FACR).

 

His current interests are in Positron Emission Tomography, Body Magnetic Resonance Imaging and Pediatric Radiology.

 

Dr. Kalbhen is a Clinical Associate Professor of Radiology at Loyola University Chicago. He has also authored or coauthored over 20 peer-reviewed articles, and he has been performing grant review for Autism Speaks since 2006.
